I went to the movie with my dad to see where the real wild things are. There was a big paper thing made out of one of the wild things- made out of newspaper. It showed his boat too. It was a good movie. It showed us how to be good. When max says, “feed me, woman!” and then he runs away from his mom until he sees carol. The wild things said, “Hey, what happened to our houses?” and the hawk said, “hey what are you doing to our homes? Look, we built really hard on these. Why did you do that?” “I was only trying to help,” Max said. That’s part of the movie. Here, I can make up a story of where the wild things are. One day Max said, “I’m going to travel.” And his mom said, “well that’s ok, but only for a minute.” Max said, “No, I’m going to be there for hundreds of years.” “I know you want to go really far away, but that way you won’t come back.”

“Yes I will” (said Max)

“Don’t lie to me about that!” (said Max’s mom)

“See you later, mom!” (said Max) “Hey max, come back!” (said Max’s mom)

And he ran away. And he ran and ran and ran until he saw where the wild things are. They roared and said, “who are you?” Max said, “I traveled and went across the sea and got worried because no people were with me. I’m glad I met you though. I like to watch sports. I like to play volleyball too. And I travel a lot. I watch television, I watch spongebob and I watch elmos wolrd and I watch sesame street and..” “We don’t care about sesame street! (said the Wild Things) We know about that! You don’t have to tell us about everything.”

That’s where the wild things are. I hope you know all about it now! By Peyton Woelfel

Happy Halloweeen!

We went trick or treating to a lot of houses. I got a ghost yo-yo. I got a sucker ring. All kinds of stuff. I was Raphael for Halloween when I dressed up. I love Halloween! I goed with Matt and Joy and Daddy and Corinne. We were the Inja minja turtles. I goed to this house, I rang the doorbell. There was a man who was getting out the candy and his dog just runned outside. The dog came to see Corinne. Bye, see you on another day!
